My Review –
Where to start, where to start…. Voice of War is AMAZING!! I could not put it down, I could not stop thinking about it, and I could not stop staring at the gorgeous cover. Need I say more? OK, ok I guess you want some more logistical details. Right from the start Zack Argyle immerses the reader in a gorgeous, magical complex world. There is magic in certain people, if you’re born lucky, and there is harshness in the world if you’re not. You meet some very strong characters right off the bat, and I immediately became invested in their stories. I love the cat and mouse game that happens throughout the first half or so of the book, where you think you have an idea what’s going to happen and then you read on and you’re wrong. That kind of plot just sucks me in and drives me crazy until I get to the very last page. I don’t want to give too many details, as this is just too fantastic of a read for spoilers. So, if you love fantasy and adventure, good guys and bad guys, complex magic systems and mysterious villages of people who were things of myths, then you need to read this book! This will easily make my Top 10 of 2020 list, and I’m saying this in JULY. It’s only July guys and I have just read a TOP 10 BOOK OF 2020. I hope that shows how much I loved this, haha, if not then please just read Voice of War by Zack Argyle and then you’ll understand. 🙂
